BB Cream: The Wonder Make-up

I may be one of the people who can't live without the ingenious thing called BB Cream. It stands for Blemish Balm Cream, an all in one cream used as face make-up. The craze started in Korea then to Japan and soon more Asian women go loco over this handy make-up. BB Cream gives you flawless finish much like of a Korean's natural skin complexion. It is better than a foundation. Most BB Creams contain SPF to protect the face from the sun's harmful rays. It can also be used as an alternative to concealer. Some BB Creams cure acne and other face impurities, cover blemishes and dark spots, some even treat oily skin problems. It looks natural on the skin giving you an almost no make-up look. You can even retouch without any hassle unlike powder or liquid foundations.

SkinFood Aloe Sun BB Cream with SPF 20
This is the very first BB Cream I ever used. My bestfriend was pushing me to try it and at first, I was a bit hesitant since it might not look good on me and I don't know if I'm allergic to this kind of make-up. Sorry, I was still new to it. It's a bit oily and it doesn't dry quickly. But the coverage is good.

Medibeau BB Cream with SPF 40
This BB Cream is the cheapest among of all I've tried. I call this my everyday BB Cream. It's something you can wear just on ordinary days (because I choose my BB Creams according to my mood everyday). It's thick consistency gives your face a super flawless look and wax finish. Not oily and powdery when dry. But it tends to cake and get flaky when you're prone to sweating. And, by the way, it dries quickly! On the right is a photo of me wearing Medibeau :)

The Face Shop Oil Free BB Cream
This BB Cream was a birthday gift from my bestfriend. We both haven't tried it but I took the risk. I wasn't disappointed with the result. It's coverage is very nice. Very baby-like scent. It's not oily, obviously. I don't use this often though because I don't want it to run out fast. This is still not available in the Philippine market, that's why.

Skin79 Super+ BB Cream with SPF 25
This BB Cream gave my face a gray finish. It's a bit oily on the skin, but dries quickly. I wasn't much into this. I just tried it because I saw the nice reviews in the internet but it doesn't suit my standards that much. Naks! :D

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream with SPF 42
This BB Cream is the most expensive one I've tried. But, I didn't spend a single cent on it. My bestfriend gave me a sampler of it and I just totally love how it looks on my face after application. But since I'm prone to sweating, it washes out fast but retouching is good. It's a bit oily and a bit odd smell for me. Very nice coverage, no wonder it's one of the top selling BB Creams in Korea.

And yes, this is my BB Cream collection. I'm planning on trying more soon so I can share them to you. I just love how this miraculous thing could cover up blemishes right away. Though you can also apply BB Powder or some other good powder products after to keep the BB Cream in place for a longer time.
