KFC + Beef & Cheese Casserole

Last Friday, JPS treated me at KFC! I had the Street-Wise Chicken Steak Meal, a bucket of KFC famous fries and Choco Banana Cream Spoonfuls. Not quite of a diet combo but who cares. Whenever JPS treats me, I forget about diet. Haha!



Then on Saturday, JPS and I cooked lunch. We made Beef & Cheese Casserole. It's so yummy I can just have it all day! Plus it's super healthy! Of course, I'll share the recipe below... and by the way, one recipe is good for 6 :)


You will need:
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
100 grams carrots, green peas & corn mix
100 grams ground beef
250 grams Del Monte Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce
1/4 cup water
5 1/2 cups cooked rice

Here's what you need to do:
Saute garlic and onion. Add the ground beef then the carrots, green peas & corn mix. Cook until ground beef is well done. Pour in the spaghetti sauce and the water. Simmer for 10 minutes with occasional stirring. Add salt to taste. Grate a generous amount of cheese and let it settle.
Pour in the cooked rice little by little. Mix until rice has been coated properly. Plate and drizzle with more cheese. Serve.
